Job summary

Amgen’s Thousand Oaks site seeks a Process Development Senior Associate to advance drug product formulations and lifecycle management. You will join a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists, performing design and execution of development studies and contributing to data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities include documenting studies, applying statistical tools, and creating intuitive visualizations to support scalability and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with 2 years of scientific experience or equivalent.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals/biotechnology with process development.
• Knowledge of drug product unit operations and analytical techniques.
• Programming experience (Python, R, MATLAB) and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design formulation and process development studies.
• Execute and document laboratory studies with high accuracy.
• Evaluate product and process performance via analytical testing.
• Build analytics with dashboarding tools.
• Analyze data using statistical software.
• Apply digital tools to data structuring and visualization.
• Author/review technical protocols and reports.
• Share study results and challenges in team meetings.
