Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA, is seeking a Process Development Senior Associate to join the DSTS group and advance drug substance manufacturing processes in a collaborative environment.

You will work with chemists, engineers, and scientists to develop safe, robust, cost-effective synthetic and hybrid drug substances and support regulatory filings. Strong bioconjugation experience and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with 2+ years scientific experience.
• Associate’s degree with 4+ years scientific experience.
• High school diploma with 6+ years scientific experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with chemists, process engineers and attribute scientists to support drug substance development.
• Support cGMP manufacturing and technology transfer to internal facilities and external CMOs.
• Contribute to drug substance development teams by providing experimental results and data interpretation.
