Clayco / LJC Design & Engineering is seeking a Senior Process Designer to oversee all design workflows and mentor teams. The role focuses on strategic direction, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across multi-discipline projects.

The Senior Process Designer collaborates with clients to refine deliverables, drives innovative workflows, and ensures safety and standards are upheld throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Drafting/Technical CAD degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of extensive process design experience with mastery in CAD/3D modeling tools.
• Strong problem-solving and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Proven leadership to manage diverse teams and mentor designers.
• Expertise in integrating client feedback and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of intricate designs, including multi-discipline integrations and piping layouts.
• Develop and enforce company-wide design standards for quality and compliance.
• Mentor junior and mid-level designers to promote growth and cohesion.
• Collaborate with clients to refine deliverables and align with project goals.
• Adopt new tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure designs meet safety regulations and industry standards.
