Job summary

LED FastStart is looking for an experienced Process Design Engineer (PDE) based in Chalmette, Louisiana. You will provide process engineering design and project support in the refinery, managing projects from inception to approval and implementation.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, with 6-10 years of relevant experience in refining or engineering firms. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in refining or petrochemical environment.
• Strong knowledge of API, ASME, and other design standards.
• Experience with P&ID/PFD development, equipment sizing, and capital project execution.

Responsibilities

• Support the project team with process design input and technical reviews.
• Perform equipment sizing and specification for various processes.
• Lead multidisciplinary reviews of project designs and ensure compliance with standards.
