Job summary
Shell in Louisiana seeks a Senior Control System Engineer to ensure reliable and optimized operation of process automation, control and SIS across production units. You will mainly support day-to-day PACO activities, act as focal point for instrumentation issues, and participate in advanced process control improvements and turnarounds.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical or other engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years direct support experience in manufacturing operations.
- Hands-on experience with DCS systems, preferably Yokogawa Centum VP or Emerson DeltaV.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day assurance of Process Automation, Control and Optimization (PACO) equipment, systems and applications.
- Lead or participate in troubleshooting of complex process and control issues.
- Interface with capital projects to provide technical assurance in process control scope development and implementation.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members and Instrument Technicians.
