Job summary

PTS Advance in New Orleans is seeking an experienced Process Controls Lead Engineer to serve as the plant's go-to technical expert for automation, control systems, and reliability. Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you will design, integrate, commission, troubleshoot, and improve control systems to keep manufacturing operations safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Process, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15–30 years of relevant controls/automation experience.
• Extensive PLC/DCS programming, integration, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC/DCS systems.
• Lead capital projects from planning through commissioning.
• Maintain plant-wide control-system architecture and standards.
• Mentor engineers and technicians.
• Improve safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.
