Job summary

The role requires hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation and FANUC robotics, PLC programming, HMIs, and IT/OT integration, along with strong project engineering and problem-solving abilities. Travel to other talc sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems/Automation, Mechanical, Chemical) or Associate’s Degree in Automation/Control Systems is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in controls and automation; leadership training is advantageous.
• Certified Rockwell Automation Programmer preferred.
• 2+ years industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to operations through troubleshooting and optimization of existing control and electrical systems.
• Coordinates upgrades to process control systems and historizes data for reporting and analysis.
• Implements automation projects to control equipment at mining and milling locations; ensures safety standards.
• Monitors and maintains control hardware, software, and networks; interfaces with IT/OT teams.
