Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Process Control Engineer for their Evadale, TX location. In this role, you will be integral to the Process Control Systems Support Group, ensuring the reliability of control systems at the mill.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and have over 7 years of process control experience, preferably within the paper industry. This position involves troubleshooting control systems, working in teams, and contributing to system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Electrical or Chemical.
• 7+ years of experience in process control with large-scale upgrades.
• Direct experience with DCS platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure DCS/PLC network hardware and software.
• Monitor Control System network and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with operations and maintenance to resolve stability issues.
