Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Process Control Manager to lead the Process Control Systems Group at the Evadale paper mill. You will oversee all process control systems, direct department personnel, and drive continuous improvement in controls and equipment.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will lead capital project execution, ensure safety and development of your team, and coordinate with other mill departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Chemical disciplines preferred).
• 10+ years’ experience in process control, automation, or related field.
• 5+ years’ supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with Honeywell, Delta V, or Metso/Valmet DCS platforms is a plus.
• Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Process Control systems and department personnel.
• Lead capital projects related to control systems and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement across mill processes.
• Coordinate with other mill departments for alignment.
