Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Process Control Engineer II for our Emerson, AR Engineered Wood Products facility. This role focuses on setting up and maintaining automation across manufacturing processes, collaborating with plant teams and serving as site automation expert.

You will lead projects, mentor technicians, and drive improvements in process control strategies while maintaining safety and clear communication throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applying and supporting process control solutions in manufacturing
• Demonstrated success in process/product improvement and cost reduction
• Advanced PLC/HMI knowledge with complex automation strategies

Responsibilities

• Lead and support process control best practices with mill leadership
• Provide cross-functional project leadership and training
• Collaborate with site and corporate process control resources
• Mentor other engineers and technicians in process control
• Develop and apply new control technology and documentation
