Lilly is expanding its Kenosha County packaging lines with advanced automation engineering. The Process Automation Engineer– Packaging will lead design, installation, and qualification across the project lifecycle, coordinating with global teams to ensure GMP compliance and system integration.

The role requires a STEM degree and 7+ years in process automation, with site leadership responsibilities and travel as needed to support commissioning and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM
• 7+ years of experience as a process engineer with automation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and qualify new packaging lines.
• Lead automation activities through full project lifecycle, including design review, FAT, installation, SAT, qualification, startup.
• Serve as SME for integration between packaging equipment and MES, WMS, and site automation platforms.
