Job summary

Lilly is building a state-of-the-art packaging facility in Wisconsin. We seek a Process Engineer–Packaging to design, qualify, and integrate high-speed packaging lines within our LKC Site Engineering team.

You will lead qualification activities, coordinate with OEMs, IT, and manufacturing, and help ensure safe operation and compliance across the packaging systems. The role emphasizes project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on commissioning, with travel and startup support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.

Responsibilities

• Partner with automation and packaging teams to design, install, and qualify new packaging lines.
• Lead or participate in qualification activities including commissioning and startup.
• Integrate packaging lines with site data collection, SCADA, MES, and other systems.
• Lead full project lifecycle: design review, FAT, installation, SAT, qualification, startup support.
• Ensure equipment safety and Lilly standards compliance.
