You will perform home visits, conduct interviews, and coordinate with treatment providers to support clients moving toward long-term success.

Qualifikationen

• Some knowledge of the fundamentals of behavioral science.
• Some knowledge of criminal justice.
• Some knowledge of identifying social or human science resources.
• Some knowledge of computer operations.
• Experience writing detailed reports.
• Some knowledge of managing a caseload with conflicting priorities.
• Willingness to work with individuals with criminal backgrounds.

Aufgaben

• Counsel clients in dealing with problems including drug/alcohol, finances, marriage, employment and education.
• Design and implement case plans and monitor progress.
• Engage in effective interventions with clients.
• Write violation, post-sentencing, pre-sentence investigation and court reports.
• Investigate behaviors, law violations, employment status and residence of clients.
• Arrest probationers or parolees, conduct searches, and secure evidence.
• Make home visits and maintain contacts with treatment providers and criminal justice partners.
