Job summary

Taidou LLC seeks a Principal, Private Equity Funds to lead Taidou Atlas’s core private equity segment. You will own relationships with PE firms, drive go-to-market, and deliver value through a hands-on leadership approach.

This role focuses on originating opportunities, shaping portfolio work, and growing revenue while guiding a small, autonomous team. You will build a robust pipeline, co-host industry panels, and collaborate with the consulting practice to meet client readiness and transaction

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in private equity, transaction advisory, operating partner or portfolio operations, including senior client- or investor-facing responsibility.
• A strong existing network among private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
• A track record of building a business line, portfolio or programme and growing revenue.
• Excellent judgement and communication with founders, investors and executives.
• Comfortable in a small, fast-moving firm with high autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Build Taidou's relationships with private equity firms — deal teams, operating partners and portfolio leadership.
• Originate and shape work for portfolio companies: value-creation plans, reporting readiness, carve-outs and integrations, delivered with the consulting practice.
• Route later-stage and lower-middle-market companies from the Exchange to the funds they fit.
• Own the segment's pipeline, revenue and targets, and lead the Account Executives, SDRs and client-relationship staff who support it.
• Represent Taidou Atlas at events, on panels and across the ecosystem, and co-host programmes with partners.
• Work with the consulting practice when a company or fund needs deeper advisory work.
• Keep relationships, pipeline and activity current in the Taidou CRM, and report on segment performance.
