Job summary

Bloom Equity Partners, a NYC-based technology-focused private equity firm, is seeking an investment professional with buyside experience to join our deal execution team. You will build financial models, perform due diligence, and prepare investment memorandums for potential opportunities.

You will work with senior leadership and portfolio companies to drive growth, optimize operations, and contribute to deal sourcing.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of buyside investment experience is required.
• Experience in buyouts of B2B enterprise software or business services is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling and due diligence acumen across multiple transaction types.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with extreme attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Find and connect with interesting companies and their CEOs within target profile.
• Build financial models, research industry dynamics, and write investment memorandums.
• Analyze companies during deal-making and due diligence to understand customers, sales, churn, product positioning, competition, team, and market.
• Assist in managing the deal process with lawyers, accountants, and consultants.
• Work with portfolio company boards post-transaction to improve operational efficiencies, sales & marketing, and financial management.
