Job summary

Pacific Life seeks a detail-oriented Deal Closing Specialist to join its Private Credit Investment Management team in Newport Beach. You will coordinate private credit transactions from trade approval through funding and closing, interfacing with Legal, Operations, Treasury, Compliance, and Risk teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in finance/investment operations with fixed income and private credit experience, plus strong organizational and stakeholder management skills to manage

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, Investment Operations, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Fixed Income Investments.
• Experience with Private Credit Transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate private credit transactions from trade approval through funding and closing.
• Coordinate due diligence, deal approvals, and Investment Committee documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal, Operations, Treasury, Compliance, and Risk Management teams.
• Coordinate trade tickets, pricing confirmations, funding notices, and legal document execution.
• Maintain accurate deal documentation and ensure post-closing files are complete.
• Support portfolio allocations, deal setup, and post-closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, including OFAC.
• Track deal progress, identify potential risks, and provide status updates.
• Manage multiple transactions and deadlines to ensure smooth deal execution.
