Job summary

EY is a leader in tax services with a dedicated FSO EDGE Private practice serving US and global clients. This Senior Services Manager will deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting work for private entities and high‑net‑worth individuals, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, accurate results.

You’ll lead engagements, develop client relationships, mentor staff, and shape solutions across complex tax matters in a hybrid US work model with a comprehensive rewards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent or licensed attorney.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional services or tax services organization in the financial services industry.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and exposure to state and local tax.
• Proficient in the use of various tax and accounting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage compliance and consulting delivery services to meet deadlines for client deliverables.
• Lead projects and work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
• Manage communications with client tax liaisons, trust administration, and related teams to gather information and enable timely, accurate production of tax statements and returns.
• Support effective long-term relationships and manage workflow with clients.
• Manage engagement deliverables and team resources to achieve timely delivery of tax services while managing engagement economics.
• Advise on complex tax matters, set expectations, coordinate daily activities, and assign tasks to staff and seniors.
• Review and evaluate staff work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with tax laws.
• Provide leadership, feedback, and coaching to team members.
