Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior Associate to join our Nashville-area team. You will serve as a trusted advisor on personal, estate, gift, and trust matters, collaborating with CPAs, JDs, and Wealth Strategists to deliver sophisticated planning and compliance.

As part of client service teams you will develop tax strategies, manage engagements, research issues, and mentor junior staff while representing the firm at campus events to attract top talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or mix with corporate tax.
• CPA exam eligibility as defined by state board requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations across industries.
• Deliver exceptional client service while building trusted advisor relationships.
• Collaborate with client management to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
• Organize workflows, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Leverage technology and pursue process improvements through innovation.
• Maintain CPA/CPE requirements to stay current on technical knowledge.
• Contribute insights to proposals for prospective clients and articulate capabilities.
• Contribute to internal publications and join knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Represent the firm at campus recruiting events to engage top university talent.
