Job summary

Mowery & Schoenfeld, LLC is seeking an ambitious Tax Senior Associate for our private client team in Lincolnshire, IL. This role focuses on individual and trust taxation, client service, and ongoing learning within a collaborative environment.

You will prepare returns, mentor associates, and communicate with clients, team members, management, and regulators. Remote work capability is supported; CPA or CPA-eligible with 3+ years public tax experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting with at least 1 year at the senior associate level.
• CPA or CPA-eligible.
• Project and time management skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.

Responsibilities

• Preparing individual and trust returns.
• Communicating effectively with clients, team members, company management and regulatory bodies.
• Provided with one on one training and development with high visibility and readiness track for growth.
• Involved in taxation processes from start to finish.
• Mentoring associates and interns.
