Job summary

Central Bank is seeking a Private Banking Officer to serve as the primary relationship advisor for high net worth clients. The role focuses on developing strategies, sales, and plans to grow the Private Banking division by delivering comprehensive banking and wealth management services.

The officer will deepen client relationships through need-based service across retail, commercial banking, and trust, leveraging a strong community network to attract new deposits, investments, and fee income

Responsibilities

• Meet revenue growth, profitability and client retention goals by acquiring new clients and expanding services to existing clients.
• Act as an expert 'market moving' advisor to bring in deposits, investments, and fee income across retail and commercial banking.
• Self-acquires significant new business through community connections.
• Handle the most challenging, sensitive and complex relationships.
• Role model for Private Bankers, Trust RM, Commercial and Retail Bankers.
• Work within audit, compliance and regulatory framework to ensure a compliant, quality portfolio.
• Develop short/long-term initiatives aligning with vision; provide guidance and coaching to Private Banking team.
• Lead and mentor team to implement Private Banking initiatives, upholding concierge service and culture.
• Communicate decisions and priorities to team as directed.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting to maximize profitability.
• Develop strategic calling plans to maximize investments, loans and deposits.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop marketing plans for Private Banking.
• Recruit and develop Private Bankers and Client Service Associates.
• Assist marketing and calling efforts for Wealth Management opportunities.
• Determine proactive calling and cross-selling practices.
• Monitor and coach team to achieve sales results and cross-selling.
• Plan and oversee external events to increase visibility.
• Collaborate on lending guidelines for referrals.
• Maintain contact with Retail, Commercial, Trust, and Mortgage teams to grow relationships.
• Maintain contact with clients and referral sources.
• Perform other duties; may work at other locations.
• Maintain controls to manage risk and compliance.
• Assist others; may work at other locations.
