Job summary

J.P. Morgan Private Bank is seeking a seasoned Private Banker to advise families on building and managing wealth. You will leverage investments, credit and banking knowledge to serve current clients and attract new ones.

You will work with a local team and an institutional platform to enable holistic, goals-based planning. The role requires extensive client-facing experience, a strong network, and licenses (Series 7/66 and insurance) with 90-day license attainment.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required; unlicensed candidates may start but must obtain licenses within 90 days.
• Proven sales success and strong business acumen.
• Strong community presence with an established network.
• Experience or understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts.
• Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client’s behalf.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain client relationships, earn trust, understand client needs and deliver exceptional service.
• Acquire new assets from existing clients and new client acquisition.
• Advise clients on balance sheet, asset allocation, wealth planning, credit and banking needs.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise.
• Connect clients across all JP Morgan Chase lines of business.
• Ensure solutions meet clients' short, medium and long-term goals through holistic planning.
• Strictly adhere to risk, control policies and security measures.
