Job summary

J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank in Boston seeks an accomplished Private Banker to advise families on building, preserving and managing wealth. You will use investments, wealth planning, credit and banking to support clients’ balance sheets and drive new client acquisition.

You will be part of a local team, collaborate with internal specialists, and help clients across all lines of business while upholding risk controls and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Seven plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required; but candidates may start unlicensed and must obtain within 90 days.
• Proven sales success and strong business acumen.
• Strong community presence with an established network.
• Experience or understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts.
• Focuses on the client experience and acts on behalf of clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with clients by earning trust and understanding client needs.
• Generate business results and acquire new assets from existing and new clients.
• Advise clients on balance sheets, asset allocation and wealth planning.
• Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise.
• Connect clients across all lines of business of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet client needs and goals holistically.
• Strictly adhere to risk, compliance and security policies.
