Job summary

Popular is seeking a seasoned Private Banker to lead relationships with high-net-worth clients in the Miami area. You will deliver a full spectrum of banking products and services, coordinating with Mortgage, Investment and Insurance specialists to design tailored financial solutions.

You will drive new business, maintain client assets, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance and exceptional client service in a dynamic Wealth Management environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred; Masters degree highly preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in private banking relationship management.
• Ability to develop complex credit relationships for high net worth individuals and corporations.
• Strong business acumen with attention to policies, procedures, and sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; travel up to 20%+

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of private banking clients with a suite of products including credit, investment, insurance and mortgages.
• Cultivate relationships by calling on prospective clients to identify needs and propose solutions.
• Execute sales plans to meet goals and optimize deals.
• Conduct needs assessments and create financial plans.
• Collaborate with Mortgage, Investment, Insurance and other banking specialists to tailor solutions.
• Monitor client relationships to maintain asset quality and proactively identify new opportunities.
• Train and mentor Private Banking Service Officers and collaborate with branches.
