Job summary

Interra Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Private Banker in Granger, IN to oversee a high-net-worth member book and drive the Preferred Services Program. You will build relationships, provide tailored banking and investment guidance, and collaborate across internal teams to deliver a full‑relationship experience.

You will monitor portfolios, guide investments and credit decisions, and stay current on market conditions, regulations, and wealth planning concepts to meet revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or related field.
• FINRA Series 6, 63 registrations; IAR 65/66 or appropriate designation preferred.
• State Life, Health, disability & Variable Licenses preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospects for the Preferred Services Program and manage the selected members' accounts.
• Provide urgent, high-quality service to client needs and ensure follow-up by the Interra team.
• Schedule bi-annual meetings with members to discuss financial needs and goals.
• Monitor performance of member accounts to ensure alignment with goals and spending.
• Provide day-to-day training and support to team members on deposit issues and client inquiries.
• Coordinate the credit approval process with treasury, commercial and wealth management teams.
• Complete required credit union courses to satisfy training requirements.
• Engage in community events to promote the Preferred Services program.
