Yahoo Privacy Techicians work to design, implement, and validate privacy-respecting systems across advertising and media. This hands-on role partners with privacy counsel, product, and engineering to translate legal requirements into concrete design and testing plans.

You will evaluate AI/ML data lifecycles, consent signals, and identity technologies, building scalable privacy engineering patterns and automation to improve compliance and speed.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in privacy engineering, privacy technology, security engineering, data governance, or related technical roles.
• Ability to review system architectures, trace data flows, identify privacy risks, and recommend mitigations.
• Working knowledge of web, mobile, API, cloud, and data-warehouse architectures.
• Hands‑on data investigation using SQL and scripting (Python/JavaScript) preferred.
• Experience designing or validating technical privacy controls (consent, retention, de-identification).
• Strong understanding of privacy principles and governance requirements, with ability to translate requirements into technical outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead privacy reviews across product lifecycles from architecture to post-launch validation.
• Map data flows across web, mobile, APIs, cloud services, and third-party integrations; create diagrams.
• Translate legal and product requirements into technical controls and engineering guidance with privacy counsel.
• Design controls for data minimization, consent propagation, retention, access, and data sharing.
• Test privacy controls using documentation, logs, queries, and network traces; drive remediation.
