Job summary

Merrick Bank in South Jordan, UT is seeking a Senior Privacy Analyst to own privacy governance components, including data inventories, impact assessments, issue management, and regulatory change tracking.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Information Security, Legal, and IT to strengthen governance, drive remediation, and monitor risk indicators in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, Risk Management, Legal Studies or related field.
• 7+ years of compliance, banking, audit, or risk experience required.
• Experience with data governance, privacy processes, or information security in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain privacy and compliance governance components (data inventories, PIA, issue management).
• Review updates, risk assessments, and remediation to ensure governance effectiveness.
• Partner with Compliance, Information Security, Legal, IT and business units on privacy standards.
• Drive program enhancements and monitor governance timelines and quality.
