Figure AI in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Software Engineer for the Security & Privacy team to embed privacy into the core architecture of our autonomous humanoid robotics platform. You will implement PETs and ensure data protection and regulatory compliance across products and backend services.

The role requires extensive privacy engineering experience and strong C/C++, Rust, Go, or Python skills. You will collaborate with AI, engineering, and security teams and help develop tooling to

Competenze

• BS in a technical field and 8+ years in privacy engineering or related security/software role.
• Experience with anonymization, data lineage, data minimization, or governance.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Design features embedding privacy controls and data minimization into the product and stack (privacy-by-design).
• Develop and maintain core privacy services for user control, anonymization, and data retention/deletion.
• Collaborate with AI, engineering, and security teams to enforce data governance and protection.
• Develop tooling to standardize privacy enforcement across systems and monitor compliance.
