Job summary

Premier Professional Systems, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel III (Privacy, Digital Risk, and Cybersecurity) to guide privacy, cybersecurity, and digital governance across the enterprise.

The role partners with the Privacy Office, AI/Data Analytics, and business teams to build scalable controls and risk-based guidance. The successful candidate will translate regulatory requirements into practical processes, lead contract negotiations, and advise on incident response and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (Required)
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Privacy, AI governance or cybersecurity governance certifications preferred (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT)
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into practical guidance for business teams and IT/security stakeholders
• Experience drafting and negotiating privacy, data protection and cybersecurity provisions in agreements

Responsibilities

• Provide legal oversight for privacy, cybersecurity, and digital risk compliance and strategy.
• Advise on regulatory reporting, incident response, and vendor/privacy program governance.
• Draft, negotiate and review complex contracts with data protection obligations.
• Lead governance efforts with Privacy Office and AI/Data Analytics teams to implement compliant processes.
