Job summary

Aledade is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our Privacy Team, reporting to our Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel. The ideal candidate will work independently to advise on privacy risk, own key privacy verticals end-to-end, and serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on evolving privacy and AI regulatory issues.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience advising healthcare organizations on privacy/regulatory matters is required.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and state privacy laws is expected; AI laws a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and own discrete privacy verticals from issue spotting to resolution.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on privacy laws for U.S. healthcare organizations (HIPAA, state laws, data breach).
• Advise on AI use, AI governance frameworks, and responsible AI practices.
• Support commercial contracting with privacy provisions in vendor/data use/BAAs.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Security, IT, and business teams to identify privacy risks and solutions.
• Monitor privacy and AI law developments and communicate implications.
