Qualifications

• Four years of trades experience in the area of specialization as a helper or apprentice.
• Two years of experience in the area of specialization at the full performance level.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable by the Office of Human Resources.
• Training in a post high school approved trade curriculum for 6 months to 1 year can be equated month-by-month.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a group of Prison Trades Worker 2s.
• Oversee maintenance, repair and diagnosis of complex equipment problems.
• Supervise custody and instruction of inmates as part of the team.
