Job summary

CSU Bakersfield's Printshop is seeking a Reprographics Specialist IV to manage day-to-day print production, supervise student assistants, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality print and digital media. You will advise customers on print solutions, coordinate workflow, and maintain production standards across prepress, digital printing, and bindery operations.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent with 4 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Detail-oriented, able to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience operating high-speed production digital printers (color and B/W).
• Proficient with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; prepress software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of print production daily operations.
• Lead and train student assistants, schedule daily work, monitor performance.
• Manage print job intake and determine production methods and timelines.
• Set production priorities and optimize workflows to meet deadlines.
• Provide in-house design support using Adobe Creative Cloud.
