Job summary

Victor Valley College is seeking a print shop professional to manage layout, printing, and finishing for high-volume materials. The role supports multiple departments and requires strong graphic design and desktop publishing skills.

You will operate offset presses, digital printers, and binding equipment, ensuring timely production and accuracy. Strong attention to detail and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade.
• Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience performing print layout and copying/printing production work in a high volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs layout, printing, high speed copying and binding work; collates and binds booklets and printed material.
• Operates offset press, plate maker, digital printers, computers, paper cutter and binding equipment; maintains knowledge of print shop technology.
• Facilitates desktop publishing workflow including layout and design to produce quality copies for district publications.
• Communicates with originator to ensure timely and accurate production and plans text and artwork layouts.
