Salary Range:

$100K - $150K/Annum plus benefits

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior PCB Designer to support electronic product development and engineering projects. This role focuses on printed circuit board (PCB) layout, schematic documentation, and design drawings, with opportunities to contribute to mechanical design activities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop accurate, reliable, and manufacturable designs that meet project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop PCB layouts, schematics, and associated engineering drawings using Altium and established design practices.
• Evaluate design requirements related to manufacturability, cost, maintenance, and technical specifications.
• Ensure engineering drawings, layouts, and documentation are accurate and aligned with applicable industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve design and production issues.
• Prepare and process engineering change documentation to maintain accurate drawings and design records.
• Support mechanical modeling and drawing activities as needed.
• Contribute to specialized substrate layout and related electronic design activities when required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Approximately 2–8 years of relevant PCB design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer, including PCB layout, schematic capture, and component library management.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), engineering change control, and configuration management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
• Working knowledge of PCB materials, fabrication processes, and manufacturing techniques.
• Familiarity with applicable IPC standards for PCB design and manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mechanical design, product modeling, and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
• Exposure to PCB design and mechanical CAD tools such as PADS, AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or SolidWorks.
• Experience with specialized electronic substrate design and layout.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
