Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Print Shop Estimator in Tinton Falls, NJ, for a Direct-Hire opportunity. You will leverage deep knowledge of sheetfed offset, digital production, large-format, packaging, and bindery to engineer accurate estimates that align with plant capacity and manufacturing best practices.

The role requires interpreting specifications, collaborating with Sales and Customer Service, and driving cost-efficient production paths.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating for commercial print environments.
• Ability to interpret specifications and engineer economical production methods.
• Experience using ERP/MIS tools for estimating, costing, and production planning (PACE MIS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and clarify project requirements with Sales and Customer Service
• Apply knowledge of sheetfed offset, digital, large-format, packaging, and finishing to determine the most economical production method
• Engineer accurate estimates including time, cost, materials, and labor, revising as specifications change
• Collaborate with Sales, vendors, and department managers to develop solutions and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure quality standards before presenting quotes and maintain complete estimating documentation
