Strategic Factory in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Print Bindery Specialist to finish and fulfill orders, preparing customer orders for packaging. You will operate bindery equipment for cutting, folding, laminating, binding, stapling, and other tasks, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in print bindery, and solid computer skills. You must pass a background check and demonstrate strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of print bindery experience.
• Solid computer skills with data entry, internet searches, MS Office and email.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Vision and color discernment abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill Work Orders utilizing proper bindery equipment with tasks like drilling, stitching, shrink wrapping, stapling, cutting, collating, inserting, gluing, and padding as needed.
• Set up and operate bindery equipment including folder, cutter, coil inserter, hole puncher, booklet maker, and laminator.
• Bind products using hand tools such as knives and crimpers.
• Ensure the accuracy of work by producing the highest quality product for the client.
• Troubleshoot jams or issues on bindery equipment.
• Communicate with other departments when jobs are ready for binding.
• Coordinate with managers to meet deadlines and enter information into the computer to track jobs.
• Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
