Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Principal UX/Product Designer to define the overarching user experience vision across complex product ecosystems and connect disparate product lines for a seamless end-to-end journey.

You will architect scalable design systems and drive the highest standards of design quality, while mentoring senior designers and partnering with C-suite stakeholders to translate insights into business value.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or HCI.
Proven track record operating at Principal, Senior Principal, or Distinguished level.
World-class portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, mastery of craft, and enterprise-scale problem solving.
Exceptional ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into clear design directives.
Ability to drive long-term, multi-year design transformations across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the overarching user experience vision across complex and critical product ecosystems.
Connect disparate product lines to ensure a seamless, unified end-to-end user journey.
Architect scalable design systems and interaction paradigms.
Set and maintain the highest standards for design quality across micro-interactions and macro-journeys.
Create high-fidelity prototypes, journey maps, and architectural frameworks.
Partner with senior-level stakeholders to align design strategy with business objectives.
Manage stakeholders, resolve conflicting priorities, and drive alignment without hierarchical authority.
Present and defend design decisions using qualitative research, quantitative data, and market strategy.
Champion research-driven design and partner with or lead UX Research.
