Air Products is seeking a Sr Principal Mechanical Engineer to join Rotoflow in Bethlehem, PA or Houston, TX. You will apply turbomachinery design, analysis, and project execution to support high‑speed rotating equipment and related systems for customers worldwide.

This role requires 10–15 years in turbomachinery, deep FEA and rotordynamics knowledge, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. The position offers a hybrid schedule (4 days in‑office) with travel minimal, and the chance to help

Qualifications

• 10–15 years turbomachinery or rotating machinery design experience.
• Deep understanding of design principles including FEA, rotordynamics, bearing and seal technologies, and design for manufacturability.
• Detail-oriented, goal oriented, organized, creative, self-motivated, collaborative and customer focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform turbomachinery design analyses including FEA, rotordynamics, and hand calculations.
• Develop standardized product deliverables with Product Owners.
• Support equipment design, manufacturing drawings, and bid estimates.
