Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal or Principal Engineer in Systems Modeling and Simulation to join our team in San Diego, CA (preferred) or Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on statistical analysis, system modeling, and Monte Carlo simulations to optimize performance.

You will develop and integrate simulation frameworks, perform real-time operation modeling, and deliver analyses and presentations to stakeholders. Travel up to 25% and active US Secret clearance are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years in statistical/data analysis or system modeling; OR Master’s with 3+ years; OR PhD with 1+ year.

Aufgaben

• Develop and integrate system simulation frameworks, performance models, and algorithms.
• Simulate real-time operation and model projected behavior of systems.
• Develop, integrate, and use advanced GUI and visualization tools.
• Perform trade studies via computer simulation and recommend architectures.
• Conduct operational and mission effectiveness analyses.
• Incorporate LORA, O&S cost analyses, and model-based systems engineering.
