Job summary

Prattwhitney is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support the modernization of the U.S. Air Force's NC3 capabilities in Richardson, TX. This role requires a solid background in systems engineering along with an active security clearance. The ideal candidate will lead technical proposals, manage risks, and ensure effective communication across all levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience for a STEM degree or 7 years for an advanced degree.
• Experience with VLF, LF, HF, V/UHF, and Milsatcom embedded development.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical proposal preparation and serve as a subject-matter expert.
• Develop and manage technical risks and execute mitigation plans.
• Advise and coordinate with engineering managers and program managers.

Skills

Leadership and mentoring experience with systems engineering teams

Experience with RF equipment and applications

Experience with system architecture development

Expertise in Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE)

Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance
