GeoLogics is seeking a highly qualified TS/SCI cleared Senior Principal Systems Engineer for an on-site role in Aurora, CO. This W2 hourly contract-to-hire position offers a $90–$131.50 per hour rate based on experience and benefits.

The role focuses on requirements, architecture and design elaboration, system engineering analyses, and interface control within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance program.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Elaborate capabilities and features and define system interfaces.

• Conduct investigations into system anomalies and support technical reviews.

GeoLogics is seeking high ly qualified, motivated, and technically talented TS/SCI Cleared Senior Principal Systems Engineer supporting one of our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit, where your knowledge with regards to requirements, architecture and design elaboration, system engineering analyses, script development, interface definition and control, will be put to good use. The work is on-site in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications Required

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or
• Mathematics (STEM) in a related field and minimum 10 years of prior relevant
• experience
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions, with specific
• experience in one or more of the following areas: Concept of Operations (ConOps)
• development, capability and feature elaboration and management, program increment
• support, functional analysis or interface definition and control
• Development experience on a government contract
• Experience with Agile principles, to include Agile systems engineering practices and/or
• Agile roles such as Scrum Master / Product Owner

Qualifications We Prefer

• Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management large-scale
• ground systems, space-based ISR platforms)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile development
• tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler)
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, Groovy, or Ruby
• Experience building automation, developer tooling, and lifecycle reporting for large,
• distributed software programs
• Experience with test automation tools (Cucumber, Gherkin, Behave)
• Experience with requirements management in DOORS or other requirements

Responsibilities

• Elaborate capabilities and features, define system interfaces and help determine how
• system functional capability and performance will be validated and verified by the test team
• Analyze and define how the system works creating use cases
• Support the execution of the integration and test program by automating test procedures and subsequent analyses
• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with engineers to drive solutions to closureManage the team's backlog and capacity during each program increment
• Support the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and execution
• Collaborate with program management and engineering teams to ensure alignment of scope, schedule, and budget
• Conduct an investigation into system anomalies to identify root cause
• Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the Program
