Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist – Level 4 in Utah (Magna, Clearfield, or Promontory). You will define material strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and manage BOM-based inventory to support critical defense programs.

The role emphasizes advanced analytics, capacity planning, and close collaboration across engineering, production, and program management to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years in supply chain, business or program management; or Master plus 6+ years.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide insights.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating cross-functional partners in defense/aerospace contexts.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and related planning tools such as Costpoint.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop material strategies to meet operational goals.
• Assess supply resources, prioritize demand requirements, and plan inventory, distribution, and capacity.
• Lead a cross-functional team to ensure effective supply chain execution.
• Engage in long-term capacity planning and product phase-in/out activities.
• Plan and manage inventory levels based on BOM requirements and lead-time analyses.
