Job summary

RTX's Raytheon Airborne Sensor RF Design Department in McKinney, TX seeks a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead RF system hardware design, integration and documentation onsite. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in STEM with 7–10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in mechanical design and integration of RF systems/subsystems.
• Experience with bid solicitation and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures with program and functional leadership to ensure technical goals are met.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
• Meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements for work products.
• Coordinate with suppliers, production schedules, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead engineers across disciplines to ensure compliant material and on-time fabrication.
