Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer for our Data Center Mission Critical Group.

You will perform seismic analysis, develop precise structural designs, and lead projects while maintaining client relationships and regulatory compliance. The role offers opportunities for leadership, travel, and growth across multiple office locations, including Naperville, IL, with hybrid/remote options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Typically requires 6 years of design engineering experience in structures for commercial/critical facilities.
• PE or SE desired or plan to obtain within 2 years.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word/Excel.
• Basic CAD proficiency required.
• ETABS experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a multi‑discipline project.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and analysis projects for data centers and new building systems.
• Perform seismic analysis, develop structural designs and lead projects.
• Conduct inspections and create client presentations; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive engineering leadership and deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions.
• Facilitate field inspections and onsite support for construction and design.
• Collaborate across disciplines to foster innovative engineering solutions.
