Job summary

OCI is seeking a Senior Principal Member of Technical Staff to define requirements for storage infrastructure services and lead architectural decisions. You will implement proof of concepts and mentor other engineers while contributing to design and code reviews.

The role requires deep experience with distributed systems, high-performance networking, and cloud platforms, with a preference for OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of delivering and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with distributed storage systems, filesystems and databases is a strong plus.
• Expertise in one or more Public Cloud offerings (OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for storage infrastructure services and contribute to design and architecture.
• Write and review code, develop test automations, and mentor junior engineers.
• Explain complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate in an agile environment.
