Job summary

WCG is seeking a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer to lead complex programming initiatives in support of clinical trials and DMC deliverables. This role combines hands-on SAS/R programming with technical leadership to standardize outputs and ensure quality, compliance, and efficient delivery across studies.

You will mentor staff, drive programming standards, and collaborate with biostatistics, data management, and project teams.

Qualifications

Masters degree required.
8 years of statistical programming experience in a clinical trial environment.
Deep expertise in SAS programming.
Proficiency in R programming.
Experience with CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to independently lead complex programming efforts across studies.
Experience mentoring staff and driving technical standards or best practices.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior technical expert in statistical programming across multiple studies.
Design, develop, validate, and oversee complex statistical programming deliverables (datasets, tables, listings, figures).
Lead the development, validation, and continuous improvement of DMC macros and programming standards.
Provide technical oversight and review to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
Drive adoption of programming standards and process improvements.
Collaborate with biostatistics and study teams on complex trial designs and DMC reporting.
Independently manage and prioritize activities across studies.
