The role offers ownership of complex software issues, requires leadership, and involves full lifecycle development, testing, and integration across Windows and Linux platforms.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with multiple years of software experience and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 9+ years of software engineering experience or Master’s with 7+ years or PhD with 4+ years.
• US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and interim clearance to start.
• Demonstrated delivery of products in C/C++ or other OOP languages in Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle design, implementation, and unit testing of software.
• Lead a team and/or provide leadership to drive solutions of complex problems.
• Gather and report software metrics.
• Ensure software best practices.
• Develop software products from all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Work with team members to integrate functionality with other software components.
