Job summary
Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems Sector in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Principal Engineer Software or Senior Principal Engineer to own and lead software development across the full lifecycle. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of software engineering OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of software engineering.
- Top Secret DoD clearance eligibility and ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access.
- Experience debugging software in desktop and target environments.
- Experience with software integration of supplier software.
- Experience with Agile software development.
- Development experience with C/C++ and other OOP languages.
Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle design, implementation, and unit testing of software.
- Work with team members to integrate functionality with other software components.
- Support gathering and reporting software metrics.
- Follow program software best practices.
- Develop software products within all phases of the software lifecycle.
