This onsite role involves working on cutting-edge technology that contributes to programs saving lives and enabling freedoms.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team for software-system integration and testing activities.
• Participate in agile, cross-disciplinary product teams to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and ownership of software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Coordinate with multiple programs to support a stable product line supporting various products.
• Maintain and manage a backlog for feature development and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with customers and users to incorporate feedback.
• Manage the full lifecycle of product development, including architecture, design, integration, flight testing, and support.
• Communicate progress and capabilities effectively to stakeholders and customers.
• Travel as needed for system integration, testing, and customer events.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with C, C++, or related languages.
• Experience integrating multi-subsystem software systems.
• Designing and implementing large-scale, modular, reusable software products supporting multiple products.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Linux or similar OS.
• Leadership experience using Agile practices.
• Degree in STEM field with relevant experience or an advanced degree with less experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience across all software development phases.
• Proficiency with Python, Git, Visual Studio Code, Jira, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes, Boost, GCC.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, Data Engineering, and modeling frameworks.
• Experience with open system architectures and domain knowledge in networks and platform integration.
• Master’s degree in related fields.
