Responsibilities
  • Design security architectures based on adversary threat analysis and countermeasures
  • Implement and test security countermeasures per U.S. Government guidance
  • Work with Security State of the Art (S-SOTA) technologies
  • Provide sophisticated, defense-in-depth security solutions to customers

This role requires full-time on-site work at a BAE Systems facility due to the need for in-person collaboration and the nature of the work.

Minimum Requirements

This role involves understanding systems engineering techniques and processes. A Bachelor's Degree plus 10+ years of experience are required.

  • Writing system requirements
  • Defining system architectures
  • Integrating hardware and software
  • Validating and verifying solutions
Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience in hardware, software, and systems engineering countermeasures is highly valued, including:

  • Cryptographic algorithms
  • Configuring security features of COTS S-SOTA components
  • Firmware development for COTS components like Xilinx or Microsemi FPGAs
  • Secure coding, OS security, virtualization
  • Implementing security protocols
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (Cameo, MagicDraw)
Additional Information

Salary Range: $146,670 - $249,330, determined by various factors including skills, education, and experience.
