Job summary

SiTime, the Precision Timing company, is seeking a Sr. Principal, Security Architecture in Santa Clara, CA. Reporting to the CISO, you will own SiTime's security architecture across identity, data, endpoints, networks, cloud and SaaS.

This is a build role. You will create the target-state architecture, establish environment-specific control baselines, and ensure security is designed into new systems rather than retrofitted after deployment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security.
• 5+ years in security architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• CISSP, CCSP, or major cloud security cert.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001.
• Ability to influence engineering and business decisions without direct authority.
• English proficiency required for professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state security architecture across identity, data, endpoint, network, cloud and SaaS.
• Set minimum control baselines by environment and risk tier.
• Design segmentation and enforcement for laboratory and engineering networks.
• Own security design reviews for new systems and major changes.
• Partner with IT Engineering to implement architecture and measurable configurations.
